Learn calligraphy with local artist and designer Carol O'Rourke from CSO Art Studio at Lemont Public Library on Tuesday, July 28th at 6:30 PM, sponsored by the Friends of the Lemont Public Library! In this class, you will practice brush‑pen techniques, explore lettering styles, and learn to create expressive lines. Each student receives a workbook with lettering guides, tracing sheets, basic shapes, full alphabets, brush pens, and blank cards and envelopes for finished pieces. Carol will also share ways to use calligraphy in projects like cards, ornaments, gift tags, and home décor.
